At Bellagroup we base our work on the concept of Responsible Hospitality. This means that we, in addition to delivering the best possible service for our guests and customers, also take responsibility for the impact that our business has on society and the environment and strive to affect our surroundings positively.
We strive to be the leading hospitality company in Denmark by hosting moments that matter. This is our purpose and it encompasses our approach to everything that we do. We make the most of our potential to create positive impacts – for us, for our guests and for the community around us.
Due to this, we have defined sustainable focus areas and initiated concrete initiatives within each area.

SOME OF OUR INITIATIVES
Food waste initiatives
TREATBOX & TOO GOOD TO GO
If something is too good to bin, it mustn’t go to waste. At Bellagroup we hate food waste and we are constantly experimenting with new ways of reducing food waste. Our food waste initiative Treatbox – is an alternative doggy bag that allows guests to take their leftovers home after dining with us.
The production process behind Treatbox is CO2 neutral and the box is 100% biodegradable and does not contain the chemicals and hormone disruptors commonly associated with plastic and foil packaging. Our wish is that Treatbox will allow us to reduce food waste significantly and protect the environment whilst also making it easy for our guests to take any left-over food home with them.
Treatbox is the result of a partnership between Unilever Food Solutions, REFOOD and KLS PurePrint and is intended for use in restaurants, staff canteens, at music festivals, etc.
Too Good To Go
Another food waste initiative is the partnership between our Orango Café and Too Good To Go (TGTG), an online platform dedicated to rescuing perfectly good food from the bin. The TGTG app helps consumers access super deals on meals, from local food outlets, that would otherwise go to waste.
